Nearing the Homestretch

We are nearing the homestretch of our move to Atlanta GA! We have been packing masses of boxes these past few days. Five days ago the house was a wreck! Boxes and possessions were everywhere, showing little to no order. Every night we crashed into bed for a nice, long, deep, sleep. Not really, the sound of ripping tape battles our minds to take over our dreams.

Thursday was a very rough day. We packed and re-situated all day long. Friday we spied out all the corners to dig up last minute items to be packed. Next, on Saturday, friends are coming to help us load our nice little truck!

It took forever for Gail to pack up our books! Thanks Gail:-)

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son,  so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.     John 3:16 Merry Christmas, friends and family!  We are grateful for another wonderful year.  I broke my ankle at the beginning of the year, but it healed well.  Just slowed me down a bit.  In April, a friend and I made a mission trip to a hospital/school/orphanage in Balfate, Honduras.  We carried in a large amount of baby clothes and equipment for the hospital to use.  It is always rewarding to bless people in the name of God.  I continue to weave both cloth items and baskets.  It keeps me busy.  We have been getting our house in Nashville ready to sell and will put it on the market in March.  Tom and I made a couple trips to Florida to visit Katie and Roberto and the kids.  In October, we returned to the Upper Peninsula for a few days.  We thoroughly enjoyed touri...

The long awaited day arrived on July 20th, 2008. Katie and Roberto entered the hospital at 3:00 am. and Celeste was born a mere 18 hours later. She weighed 7 lbs. 8 oz. and is 20.5 inches in length. Beautiful? See for yourself!! HAPPY PARENTS Celeste looking lovingly at her mother. Daddy is in love, again! How lovely that baby in the window! The one with the beautiful eyes! Eyes wide open.
